1. About Balam DMC México
Balam DMC México (hereinafter "Balam", "we" or "us") is a Destination Management Company (DMC) with operations in Mexico and offices in Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, and in Chicago. We operate under the legal name Balam DMC LLC.
2. B2B nature
Balam operates exclusively under a B2B (business-to-business) model with travel agencies, event agencies, companies and wedding planners. We do not sell directly to end consumers: all services and products are booked through one of these professionals.
3. Use of the website
Accessing and using this website constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The information displayed is for informational purposes only. Final quotes, availability and prices are confirmed solely in writing through a formal proposal from the Balam team.
4. Intellectual property
All website content (text, images, graphics, trademarks, logos, source code) is the property of Balam DMC or is used under license. Total or partial reproduction is prohibited without express written authorization.
5. Limitation of liability
Balam designs, plans and operates trips to the highest quality standards. However, it is not liable for circumstances beyond its control: weather, political events, pandemics, government decisions, force majeure, etc. We always recommend purchasing travel insurance.
6. Payments and cancellations
Specific payment, cancellation and refund terms are set out in each formal proposal and are governed by the policies of the final suppliers (hotels, airlines, etc.). These terms are clearly communicated before any reservation is confirmed.
7. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and, where applicable, the European GDPR.
8. Amendments
Balam reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The version in force will always be the one published on this website.
9. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, with the parties waiving any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled.
